## Overview

**Alphabet Cards** lets you browse the Korean alphabet as individual flashcards. Cards are split into four tabs so you can focus on one letter group at a time.

## Tabs

| Tab              | Contents                                   |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| Basic vowels | The 10 core vowel shapes |
| Compound vowels | 11 vowels formed by combining basic ones |
| Basic consonants | The 14 foundational consonant letters |
| Tense consonants | 5 doubled consonants with a stronger sound |

## How to use this page

1. Pick a tab for the letter group you want to study.
2. Browse through the cards to see each letter's shape and romanization.
3. Use the cards alongside [Korean Alphabet](/features/basics/korean-alphabet) for audio reinforcement.

<Tip>
  Focus on one tab at a time before moving to the next — trying to learn all four groups at once makes it harder to retain each letter.
